This statement explains how we make this website usable for people with disabilities, which standard we work to, what we know is still imperfect, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.
It applies to this website. It does not describe the accessibility of a third-party site you reach through a link, because we do not control those pages.
Our Accessibility Commitment
We want everyone who is considering an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle to be able to read our inventory, understand a battery health report, compare charging options and reach a person who can answer questions. Accessibility is part of that, not an afterthought.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium at Level AA. Those guidelines are the recognized technical standard for web accessibility, and they are the benchmark we test against.
We treat this as ongoing work. A website changes, content is added, and a new component can introduce a defect that the last review did not catch. We test, we fix, and we test again.
We serve customers in Orange County, Florida, and we meet people in person as well as online. If a barrier on this website prevents you from getting information you need, we will provide that information another way.
How We Build for Accessibility
Pages are built with semantic HTML, so that headings, lists, links, tables and regions carry the meaning they are supposed to carry rather than relying on appearance alone.
Text and interface elements are chosen for contrast against their background, and body text is set at a size and line height that supports comfortable reading and zoom.
Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone. Focus is visible, the tab order follows the reading order, and the section navigation on each legal page links to headings that can be reached directly.
Images that carry meaning have alternative text describing what they show. Decorative elements are marked so that assistive technology skips them. Tables that compare vehicles or charging levels use real header cells so that a screen reader can associate a value with its column.
The layout reflows at narrow widths and at high zoom levels without requiring horizontal scrolling for text, and we avoid fixed-height containers that clip content when text is enlarged.
A Website Without Forms
This website has no forms. There is no enquiry form, no credit application, no newsletter signup, no account registration, no search filter that must be submitted, and no checkout.
That removes a large share of the accessibility risk that websites usually carry. There are no form labels to misassociate, no validation errors to announce, no multi-step process to complete under a time limit, and no session that can expire while you are typing.
Contact is made by telephone, by email or by post, using the details in the panel below. If you prefer to speak with a person, that route is always available and it is the route most of our customers use.
Because there is no online form, we do not need to ask you to solve a puzzle, to read a distorted image, or to prove you are human before you can reach us.
Documents We Provide
Battery health reports, charging plans, appraisals, warranty documents and transaction paperwork are provided as documents, usually as a PDF and often on paper as well.
A PDF is not automatically accessible. Where a document is important to a decision, we will provide the information in another form on request: as plain text in an email, as a larger-print paper copy, or read aloud over the telephone.
If you use a screen reader or another assistive tool and a document does not work with it, tell us which document and which tool, and we will produce an accessible version or read the relevant figures to you directly.
We are working toward tagging our standard documents so that they carry a correct reading order, real headings, table headers and alternative text for figures, rather than being a picture of a page.
Third-party Content on This Site
Some pages embed content that another company supplies, such as a map to our location, a video, a hosted typeface or a script. We choose accessible providers and configure their embed where the provider allows it.
We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party code, and we cannot fix a defect inside another company product. When we learn that an embed creates a barrier, we look for an accessible alternative or we replace it.
If an embedded map or video is the obstacle, we can give you the address in text, describe the route, or send you the video in another format. Ask us by telephone, email or post using the details below.
Motion, Animation and Timing
We keep animation on this site minimal. There is no automatic carousel that advances while you read, no video that plays on its own with sound, and no content that flashes.
Where a transition or a scrolling movement is used, it is short, it does not block content, and it does not repeat without end. Nothing on this site is designed to flash more than three times in any one second.
We honor the reduced-motion setting in your operating system and browser. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, the site reduces or removes animated transitions for you.
No task on this site is subject to a time limit, because there is no task to complete online. Nothing expires while you read, and no page redirects you after a countdown.
Known Limitations
We would rather list what we know is imperfect than claim a level of conformance we have not verified.
Third-party embeds remain the most likely source of a barrier, because their markup is outside our control. Some manufacturer and charging network links lead to sites whose accessibility standard we cannot influence.
Older documents in our archive, produced before we adopted our current document standard, may lack tags, correct reading order or alternative text. We will replace or re-issue one on request.
Deep technical tables, such as a DC charging curve or a full specification sheet, can be difficult to follow in any format when they are dense. We are happy to talk through any figure that matters to you.
Our own review is periodic rather than continuous, so a recently added page may not yet have been through a full manual check. If you find a problem before we do, telling us helps.
How to Tell Us About a Barrier
If something on this site does not work with your screen reader, your magnification, your voice control, your switch device or your keyboard, please tell us. We want to know the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened.
Reach us by telephone, by email or by post using the contact details in the panel below. There is no accessibility report form, because this site has no forms at all. A call or an email is the way to report a problem here.
We aim to acknowledge an accessibility report within four business hours during our opening hours, and to give you a substantive answer, including whether we can fix the issue and when, within a reasonable period after that.
Please do not send a Social Security number, a driver licence image, a bank account number or a password in an email message. We never need any of those to answer an accessibility question.
Alternative Ways to Do Business With Us
You do not have to use this website at all. Everything on it can be handled by telephone or in person.
We will read a listing aloud, describe a vehicle over the telephone, explain a battery health report figure by figure, summarize a charging plan in plain language, and send documents in the format you prefer, including larger print.
If you visit the dealership, tell us in advance what would help: a quieter time of day, a seat, more time, a written summary to take away, or a person who can speak slowly and repeat a figure without impatience. We will arrange it where we reasonably can.
If you are acting for someone else, we are glad to talk with a family member, a friend, an interpreter or an advocate you bring with you, subject to that person authority to act on your behalf.
Assistive Technology We Test With
We check pages with a keyboard alone, with browser zoom and text-only enlargement, with a high-contrast setting, and with screen reader software, including a common Windows screen reader and the screen reader built into mobile operating systems.
We also use automated accessibility checking tools as a first pass, and we treat their output as a starting point rather than a verdict. Automated tools miss most issues that matter to a real user, so a manual pass follows every automated one.
We review the site on a current desktop browser, a current mobile browser, and at tablet and phone widths, in both portrait and landscape orientation.
If you use a combination of assistive technology that we have not tested, tell us what it is. Reports from real users are more useful than any checklist.
Standards, Law and Updates to This Statement
This statement describes our practice, and we review it at least annually and whenever the site changes substantially. When we update it, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
Accessibility for places of public accommodation in the United States is addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are widely used as the technical measure of whether digital content is accessible. We do not claim a certification we have not obtained, and we do not claim perfect conformance.
A barrier that prevents a person with a disability from obtaining information or a service that we offer is a problem we intend to fix, whether or not a particular statute reaches this website. Our separate Privacy Notice and Terms of Use explain how we handle information and the basis on which this site is provided.
To request an accommodation, report a barrier, or ask for any document in another format, email or call us using the contact details in the panel below, or write to the postal address shown there.
